Infotainment not showing

Hi all.

Just wondering if someone had any thoughts on an issue I appear to have just randomly acquired.

Drove to a friend's tonight, had phone plugged into USB with android auto running no problem.

Parked up and came back to drive home about 2hrs later and noticed that the screen was not showing anything.

It was on, can see the ba light for it.

If I hit the parking sensors or change driving mode etc these screens show,

Likewise if I put the sd card in and out I get notifications about them being fitted and also the don't forget your phone notification..


But none of the other Controls display.

With phone plugged in music still plays and I can talk to Google,.

Was hoping a software glitch and turned car off and left for a hit before turning back on.. No joy.


A bit at a loss with this one tbh.

Has anyone come a Ross this before at all?

Did you try to reset the infotainment unit by pushing the on/off button and holding it ten seconds or so, until it restarts?

Well now, hasn't that just about gone and fixed it.

Cheers buddy, I guess we can all just be glad that it's not based on windows as we would all definitely be familiar with a hard reset.
