I am currently on vacation in Turkey and I have Cupra Connect subscription. Traffic sign recognition stopped working after I entered the country. How can I fix it? I also tried giving internet connection to the car via my phone‘s hotspot but it didn‘t help.

My car is from Germany

it's likely its not supported in the country, nothing much else you can really do its not an issue with the car or settings. Give Cupra a call they will be able to tell you if its a geographical limitation

I found the answer from Cupra Connect site :(

(For some reason I posted this under wrong topic before, fixed now)

However, can someone clarify why TSR would need Cupra Connect ar any inrentet connection available?
I can only imagine that TSR is 100% camera-based and it should place a pictogram (or more) of the traffic signs it identifies on the VC. So all the processing is local IMHO - how's that related to Cupra Connect?

TSR uses GPS data and the camera to determine validity of the data displayed - its not just a camera reading a sign, its possible that they don't have the GPS sign data for Turkey or just that the function isn't supported in that specific region so when the car sees its outside a supported region its disabled

I see your point... however, I consider the approach is quite dumb (clarification: the approach of the TSR functioning).
I've driven cars with TSR and I cannot imagine a scenario when GPS (or live data) is needed. To be more precise: when you drive on a road (known or recognized by your GPS on the available onboard maps), the priority is mandatory given to the traffic signs physically present on the road, and not to those given by the navigation maps. Just think about temporary signs, such as road-works, limits imposed by accidents etc.

I agree, I don't have a Cupra Connect subscription nor an internet connection, and TSR works perfect on my car (UK) - it's just the camera I thought

And we're so far under the equator that the satellite signal is blocked by it.
