12v socket

I’d like to fit a permanent live 12v socket in the boot so I can run a camping fridge. Has anyone got experience of this please ?

I don't know how the battery would handle it, you'd be best off looking at adding a second battery as backup. But, also, refer to this clip:

Thanks for the video. The fridge has built in battery protection, when the supply voltage drops to 11.7 volts (I think) it shuts off to protect the car battery
