I have 2004 LCR project on at the moment; its been a lot of work but finally has an MOT on it;

the rear springs are completely corroded and need replacing, i believe its an old FK coilover set that was fitted ; what will fit ?? can i just source some rear spring/suspension setup from another kit ??

im thinking of the cheapest cost option at the moment until ive had the car running around for a while and get to iron out any other issues that crop up; once im happy with it i plan to put a decent kit on it

Cheapest option would be eurocar parts and just stick standard front and rear springs and shocks on it.
You can search eBay for a set of coil overs and fit them. Or bit the bullet and go top spec stuff. But once it's done it's then done.
I'd you do the " just to get it threw mot" you won't do the better stuff. Until it's needed lol
I would personally give GAZ shocks a call and get a set of front and rear springs and shocks , they do different levels of shocks at different prices

Amazingly i managed to pickup some actual fk rear coilover springs on Ebay for £30 , so I'll see how they work out when I get them , although that stance set looks really good at 279
