Indeed, but those aren't present on any MQB Evo/MIB3 car either, while Easy Entry is a feature on some of them.

The driver's chair automatically goes back when you open the door, and comes back in the previous position once you close the door.
So it make it easier for the driver to get into the car if he/she/it( :giggle: ) has bigger "proportions" or if a short(ish) driver uses a driving position with the chair "under" the steering wheel... :scary:

Glad you explained this as I wondered what it did, but didn't want to appear stupid by asking.

If only it moved the 'B pillar back 4 to 6 inches.

Or if you're listening CUPRA

Make a 3 Door Coupe Formentor then the pillar would be out of my way when getting in and out or at oblique junctions. 😁👍

Thx, I ordered obdeleven device and will try this. Does it restore to whatever was saved. Three saved positions in driver seat are available and how far does it go back?

Well, me and my wife have a profile for each of us and we switch profiles as we use the car. Whenever I select mine it moves the seat in my position. When I turn the engine off and open the door the seat moves back several centimeters I would say, probably between 5 and 10. When I want to use car, after closing the door I turn the ignition on and the seat moves back to its position. I haven't used the presets controlled by the physical buttons at all.

I used OBDEleven to do the changes: Unit 36 → Long coding → Byte 03 → Activate bit 6.
I did this, seems to work but noticed the infotainment 'seat' option has just a passenger option available. I've electric on driver seat only.

Was there a way to enable and disable the driver easy entry via the infotainment?

I was expecting the car to have this option like other cars from the VAG Group, but I couldn't find it at all. And the only way to enable it was this one :) If this has changed it would be really nice.

2023 , 204 hybrid,
Edit: Just works for saved positions 1 and 2. No effect if position 3 is set
