Leon MK3 noise in back (like servo)

Hello,

Seat Leon MK3 1.6TDi 81kW. I cannot identify noise coming from back of vehicle. Sound like some servo motor.

• Starts when engine is running;
• Present also when media is off, AC is off;
• Intensifies for a few seconds after engine is shut off and then goes away.

On the video noise is hearable when pointing to rear seats.

Thats where your fuel pump is located, under the rear seat. drivers side.

This video might give you an idea of what to do. Take out the back seat and if it is the fuel pump. It will be way more noticeable. Or just for now lift it up and listen for yourself

That doesn't sound normal no. However i own a different model so i cant say for sure. Have a look at the video i posted in previous post.

The noise may come from the third brake lamp (on the trunk lid). I had a similiar humming noise and the dealership said they replaced that lamp.
