Hi guys just a quick question I'm going to fit some H&R lowering springs on my Leon cupra mk3 just wanted to know if I need wheel spacers because it say's the springs are 35mm drop or do I not need spacers
Are they 18 in wheels mine is lower as it's a cupra on 19s mateNah mate, tbh after I put them on I kinda wish I went 40. I only went 35 cause the roads round my way are next level shite.

I want the 18 Cupra R alloys they're sick!I swapped the stock 19s on my Cupra for 18-inch VW alloys with a bigger side wall cuz of our extensive potholes and defects…
Whole of the UK by the looks of things. And the councils answer is ‘Unfortunately due to budget restraints we are no longer able to carry out this work this year.’ That was last month for a job scheduled this time last year…I want the 18 Cupra R alloys they're sick!
But yeah, our roads are savage. Thought it was just Lincolnshire
Please post your pics here when you're done keen to see the difference mate! Thanks guy's for the comments I'll put the H&R lowering springs on and hope they don't rub
Will do matePlease post your pics here when you're done keen to see the difference mate!

Because my other seat handled better after I changed the springsWhen I see people talking about fitting lowering springs. The first question I have is, why given the state of our roads and speed bumps.
Second question is effect on tyre wear and steering/suspension geometry. And therefore, handling.
1. Handles much better, is a lot sharper in corners. Speed bumps don't phase me as long as you don't take them too quickly...When I see people talking about fitting lowering springs. The first question I have is, why given the state of our roads and speed bumps.

I'm putting H&R 35mm drop on my cupra mk3 300 I was just worried it might rub that's why I asked this question guys1. Handles much better, is a lot sharper in corners. Speed bumps don't phase me as long as you don't take them too quickly...
2. Tyres wise I go through a set of fronts once a year, and rears last about 2-3 years. Not including the change for winter tyres.
That would be great all i want is for it to be stiffer because I'm only changing the springs because I've got a slight knocking on the driver's rear when I hit bumps so I assumed I've got a broken springKeep in mind the 35mm might not be a 35mm drop on the Cupra because it might be 35mm on an FR, slightly less of a drop on a Cupra because they're slightly lower from factory. I had the same thing to consider with my Eibach springs.
Ah, in that case I highly recommend going for the Eibach Pro-Kit springs… they lower 30mm on a standard Leon but on the Cupra it’s 15mm front and 10mm rear, and they’re fully compatible with the DCC shocks. https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/eibach-pro-kit-lowering-spring-kit-eibe10-15-021-02-22/That would be great all i want is for it to be stiffer because I'm only changing the springs because I've got a slight knocking on the driver's rear when I hit bumps so I assumed I've got a broken spring
Huh, never considered this!Keep in mind the 35mm might not be a 35mm drop on the Cupra because it might be 35mm on an FR, slightly less of a drop on a Cupra because they're slightly lower from factory. I had the same thing to consider with my Eibach springs.
