Condensation in front light unit

Hi all, took delivery of my Formentor yesterday and have been very pleased so far (ok, touch controls taking a little while to get used to, as well as the kick sensor boot lol).

One thing I noticed tonight, was condensation in the front light unit. Is this common and nothing to worry about, or should I be thinking about raising it with the dealership?

Is there a crack ? Could be very small

Checked it and ran hand over it, can’t see or feel any cracks. Now it seems the other one has condensation too - must be (hopefully) just using them earlier today and a drop in temp in the evening.

This is normal, confirmed on mine a while back that they are not sealed units. There was a thread about it somewhere on here, and observed on mine one day while washing the car.

I only noticed condensation once after washing the car. I normally don't see the front of the car when I get in/out at home and at work so I don't know if I also happens with a change of weather.

Cheers for confirming - good to know it’s not an issue I need to chase up the dealership for

As above the units aren't sealed which allows them to manage environmental changes. Theres a membrane somewhere to allow air to move in and out of the unit and using a power washer can cause water to get into the unit (or at least it did on the Land Rovers I had).

It'll go naturally, or park the front of the car in sunlight and it'll evaporate out.
