Full Miltek, awesome kit and sound plus the twin pipes are bigger than standard exhaust which fills the gap in bumper better

Thanks mate. Did you also replace downpipe or from cat back.
Under 500.00, expensive but probably fair price

lancashire.
I've read the standard exhaust will cost more than that miltek, remember it being the opposite lol, what's the Non-resonated and resonated all about?

I'm still rocking a standard exhaust, though the outer shell of back box is coming away and noted as an MOT Advisory.
Style Dynamics are only a few miles away from me so may go custom over Milltek as it gives me a chance to support a local business.

With Cobra or Milltek, I wonder how many they keep in stock or have left off previous manufacturing runs?
There used to be Blue Flame, Piper and Toyosports available too - did they all die out?

Nam, the resonated is more quieter where as the no-resonated is more like a straight through, it has a deeper drone but not mental loud

I have exactly that issue, Mot advisory so over the next year it will be added to my hit list. What did you go for may I ask, & roughly how much?
Cheers 👍

They've all been discontinued now. Only Millteks and Scorpions you can get hold of are old stock.

And they used to be £380. Now you're talking £500 - £650.

Aaagh, that's not good news, especially as other parts needed to keep these cars going have gone the same way 😭

Thanks dudes, I hadn't actually thought about second hand.
I've never fitted an exhaust system myself before, so apart from the obvious mechanics, is it fairly straightforward or can you run into problems with emissions/faults/readings etc?
I can't imagine too many places will fit your own system.
Thanks again for the advice, appreciate it.

Oddly enough, not mentioned on this years MOT and its not blowing so it remains ok for now...
Thanks for the update,
I actually think that might be the case for me next year. The exhaust is performing perfectly, but the back box is peeling so it's obviously perishing. However, with no leaks atm I'll treat with vht paint to seal for now & aim to replace next year. I won't be using the boy over winter much so a job that can wait for now.

Similar problem - need a new backbox for my Mk1 1.8T Cupra, and thinking I might replace the whole exhaust as it's a bit of a rust-box.

Anyone have any experience with Piper exhausts, any good?

Also looking at a Cobra but they're pretty pricey now.
