Rare they are bud, I ain't seen another around my end thinking about it don't really see many mk1 Leon's in general, bet most don't know what we drive lol

Haha this is my main point could never cope watching someone drive it around I'd be is it getting treated right lol. I've been there with a subaru impreza I had it was stunning sold it to someone I knew I had to close my eyes when I went past it with how they looked after it.

I saw two beautiful Subaru Impreza's on the road yesterday, they were stunning, one in full Colin McRae livery. I let them know it

My big lads are into modern stuff. One works for Tesla Holland.
The young one would have it but would be bank of Dad paying. Play s he’s not legal to drive for a few years yet.

Iam same, but that's car people though, I sold my sis a mint st170 years ago had she abused that. It hurts seeing ur passion get neglected grrr. That's why no FOOL buys my lcr. Lol

Jay, the late replier here. If you sell then you part company with many sentiments, that is us Mk1 lovers. I say keep it... Like many I am also scared because some parts are simply not available. However, modern technology means that things can be fabricated if need be, but cost will be an issue. I was out in mine today and was thinking, if I won the lottery tomorrow would I seel it? Answer NO
These are proper classics and built so bloody well.
If anything, park it up and drive every now and again. Cherish it

You probably don't recall but way back in 2018 I met you at the Bedford track, i love my MK3 but I also love your (and many other) MK1 and your mate with the Mad Toyota (I think). You would miss this car so much if you sold it.

You can always hire an Elise for the track but you have so much fun in this car and still surprise the newer cars.

Like you I have spent a fortune getting the car setup and the only way I am getting rid of it is when it dies or they ban us from using them.

Whatever you buy you will always want to do more with it, why not just enjoy this one (take it off the road if you have a trailer) as others have said they are well built and a joy to drive. If I one the Lottery I would have a stock and racetrack MK1 in a heart beat.

Are you Big Ron? With the 500brake mk3?
Can’t remember other white ones? And yeah my buddy has a 30 something year old Honda CRX with an integra engine etc.

And you, enjoyed our day out and banter on here, I only joined up again to stop you selling the motor.

All good with me thanks starting to get more track time in and making the car more track focused than Daily but hopefully thats all done now so its just paying for new tyres / pads / oil chages etc. I did Bedford back in January and it was very odd, most of the day there was nobody on the track, so few people came but we had a great sunny day but I think people are cutting back on track days so they are not as busy as they used to be if you go mid week.
