Wiper motor thread broken

When trying to remove the nut holding the wiper arm on, the thread was stuck into the nut and hot glued in from past owner. Any suggestions without having to replace full wiper motor assembly?

It's a reverse thread on the mechanism for that side of the car, you turned it the wrong way and sheared it off.

When replacing blade the full arm was a bit off. Turns out the nut was already sheared and was just surrounded in hot glue

I have done this twice, apparently I don't learn. What I have done is drill a hole in the stump left behind, tap/thread it and just use a smaller bolt inside with a washer holding the wiper in place. Current Leon had this done 3 years ago and it is still holding and working as should.

I've managed to do the same for my 2011 Leon FR, the bolt has sheered off. Struggling to find a replacement part, the OEM part number is 1P0 955 023 D but can't find any online. Anyone had any luck or know where to look?

I found a used one on eBay, obviously the side that gets broken easily isn't as common.

You might ring round some breakers yards, see if anyone has a Leon in.
