Cupra 4Drive > Cilinder Misfire after Stage 1

Hi,

I have a Seat Leon ST 300 4Drive Carbon Edition from 08/2018. After doing Stage 1 car is behavig strange but only when using Launch Control!

VagTechniek from Holland did the tuning and said they need further investigation. After diagnostic these error’s are shown:

15074 Cylinder Disabling

15134 Cylinder 4
- P0304 00 [096] Misfire Detected

16505 Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
- P33BA 00 [096] - During Direct Injection

I also have a ‘old’ fuel line type (01.04.2018) 06K 133 986 AK.
This one has already been order aswell 4 spark plugs and 4 ignition coil.

Anyone some other tips what could be cousing the issue?

I've just had this exact problem on my 300ST 4drive. Had the car remapped, tried to use launch control and had misfire problems and I'd actually also just fitted brand new 034 motorsport coils and racing plugs.

Not tried to use launch control since and the car has behaved fine, although I did swap out the coil that was showing as giving the misfire.

Sorry can't help as to what the cause is but weird that we've both had a very similar problem.

That's strange...I wil do the test with launch control as soon as parts have been replaced. My car behaves also fine beside launch control.

ps. For those with Cupra from 2018. Some say that issue with fuel hose pulverization is solved from 2018. That's not true. My cupra is form 08/2018 and still have bad old fuel line/hose type 06K 133 986 AK.

Update, sloved.

Unfortunately parts replaced for nothing. I took the car to another tuner for a second opinion. We tested the car together and could see that DSG was not tuned at all ... DSG was stuck at 400Nm. After it was tuned correctly, problem with Launch Control was solved and car was of course much faster!
