I noticed that my rear bumper is misaligned. I'm I to picky or should I get this fixed?
Anyone got some tips how to fix it?

Have you tried a well placed tap against it like in point b below?

I had the same on a mk6 Golf GTD - car was bought new and it came from the factory with with a misaligned rear bumper in exactly the same location as the OP’s (offside, where the bumper meets the rear quarter panel). A gentle persuasive thump with the outside edge of my fist sorted it! 🤣 After correcting the misalignment, it stayed perfectly aligned for the next 4-5 years that I owned the car.

There's a plastic tab at that location that can get damaged and let go after minor knocks. I have one at the front of mine

I tried hitting that spot with a hammer (had a towel inbetween). It didn't move, no difference unfortunately. Maybe I need to use more force?

No, check the alignment side to side see if the wings are equal. If thy look good then You might need to release the rear bumper screws to allow some movement.

The alignment does look good except at the location of the picture. Will probably have to release the screw. Is it the screw at location B?

There maybe a few between a an b. Each one carriers only a little load but together they hold the bumper secure.
For example my wing is maybe 5mm out but it's enough that the clip won't latch.
If I undo the screws move the bumper 5mm over maybe it will latch. It's on my to do list.
