That’s poor, especially if you’re thinking of selling in the future

If you’re thinking of selling, you can ask the Cupra dealer for a print out of the service history - assuming it’s been serviced by Cupra (or Seat?) or an independent who has access to VAG online service records. I don’t know how comprehensive the print out is though.
With VW, owners used to be able to check the service / repair history of their own vehicle via the ‘My VW’ app (I may be wrong but I don’t think they can now). However, the information was very limited - e.g. ‘service event’, repair event’ with no details of what work these ‘events’ entailed - so IMHO it was of little or no value.
IMHO there’s no substitute for keeping all invoices for any servicing / repairs carried out, especially if you’re considering selling privately as it’s evidence to any prospective buyer the car has been well maintained, and invoices are likely to provide more detail than any service history print out from a Cupra (or Seat/VW/Audi/Skoda) dealer.
