I got it but dealer did upgrade while in for service but said he only did it as I had outstanding recall or something on Infotainment. Not noticed anything new tbh still does the annoying thing of not going back to speedo/ rev dials after u switch off lane assist.

Mine is booked in but said only 1898 is available on my car as looks as 1899 is being rolled out by vin.
just wish vw would gets the bugs sorted as love the car but seems to be taken so long to sort and not all dealers want to update.

I had an over the air update 3 weeks back, but I haven’t checked what version it is now. Mine was perfect before and now the dash/media unit reboots while driving, which is great! It’s done it four times so far.

I will check the version tomorrow when I get back in it and report back.

Mine has rebooted a few times while driving too, I had a little update about a month ago but I’m still on 1896.

I did 400 mile drive with 1899 this weekend no reboots experienced seems ok. I did have weirdness with Andriod auto though one time car thought I was making a call but phone didn't I had to disconnect it in end and reconnect.

Yeah during 1st service, got impression they been told not to do it on request they made some noise recall / screen freezing only blah blah. I was on very early version 17.. so they did it I only only noticed it 1899 when I checked, done 2 weeks ago.

Apologies, I wasn’t on 1899, so whatever the update was it’s made it a lot worse. my dealer is saying 24th Feb before they have a courtesy car to get it in.
