Cupra 290 Fault Damper Warning

Hi Guys,

New to the forum apologies if this query is in the incorrect place.

I have a warning light come up on the dash. FAULT DAMPER. I'm going to take it to the dealer to check as i still have warranty but i was wondering if the below may be the cause....

When i picked it up from the dealer (yesterday) the wheel balancing was all over the place. really shaking at 60-70mph. Went to the local tyre place and they rebalanced the wheels (said they were way out) and this sorted the shaking.

However, just before i got to the tyre place the above mentioned fault appeared. They said they could see nothing wrong with the shocks and it may have come on due to the shaking. has anyone else experienced this?

I had this on my 280. Took it to my independent garage for the repair. They said one of the shock absorbers was leaking.
