White is boring, rental companies prefer it because its mainly a no cost option and although it adds to its size and looks impressive in the showroom, its a different story on the road. I can only think of some BMW and Mercedes that white looks good on them, I think its not suited well for this car. I was offered a brand new in Nevada White with no charge (its a metallic paint white) but preferred the midnight black and been happy since, don't care if have to wash it more often, I don't like driving around in a soiled car anyways, show or not show!
I don't think black is boring, the only deterrent from getting black is that it soils easily and you have to clean it often in order to keep it nice and shiny, also on a hot sunny day it becomes an oven if not shaded, nevertheless, it sells quite well almost as much as white, my opinion is strictly personal if white is your choice then enjoy it, your choice is what counts and not mine or anybody else's, I just thought I would express my opinion if that could be of any help, I didn't suggest anything..
Do you feel the Black car tends hotter in summer and more risky driving at nights?
I chose the Black though I am thinking to change it.
On my 3rd black Cupra now after years of red, and have not found it hotter or riskier at night at all. Plus I have found black is much better to touch in stone chips than my red cars were, so even have a black bike now also. The sills may still get tar spots on, but you can't see them like you do with lighter colours,

@East wood; My car ownership history includes 5 black cars (other colours have included blue, red, white, grey and a 1980’s brown car). From memory, I didn’t find the interior of those black cars felt any hotter during warm, sunny conditions than any other colour car I‘ve owned. IMHO any car interior will feel hot if the car’s parked in a sunny location during the summer, irrespective of the paintwork colour. As for black being riskier at night; I never found that to be the case if by risky you’re referring to the likelihood of being stopped by the police or the car being stolen.
My current car is white and given the choice of black or white, I’d always go for white these days. White wasn’t the ‘free’ colour on my car; red was, so my decision to choose white wasn’t cost-driven. It was more influenced by ease of maintenance;

- white is much more forgiving when it comes to hiding swirls than darker colours if you don’t use a safe wash technique when clean your car (I do use a safe wash technique).
- I find it’s less of an issue washing a white car in sunny conditions that it is a black or other dark coloured car.
- In my experience, it’s easier to touch in any stone chips so they’re not noticeable on a white car than on some other paint colours.
- if you’re unfortunate enough to ever need paintwork repairs, then IMHO white is an easy paint colour to get a good colour match between the new paint and original paint.
