Well first of all hopefully it is on the ship, like I said its on its way to Sheerness, which I would imagine would take about 5 or 6 days? My car is through Crewe, so suspect mine will be going to Grimsby perhaps, so next stop on from Sheerness hopefully by about a day or 2, not sure how long after port it would take to dealer, probably half a week? Then again depends on the dealer how long they have it to get ready for collection? Few days perhaps, I've asked to aim for the 28th just because I'm in Edinburgh the day before then will get a train down the next day (I'm based in Sussex) so it's about 200 odd miles back home!!

Fingers crossed it made it on to the ship. My car is coming through Doncaster, so might be in the same boat (ba dum tish) as you and heading to Grimsby. Dealer is confident collection will be towards the end of April

Hi, I have ordered my Formentor back in October 2021. The delivery target was week 22, yesterday I have received an email from Cupra that they cannot indicate when my car will be delivered. The main wiring seems to came from ukraine...and that factory is closed. Of course it is nothing compared with the issues the inhabitants of ukraine have....but it is bad news for everybody who is waiting on his / her new Cupra.

Finally picked our VZ2 in Black up from Dales in Cornwall. 80 odd mile drive back home was great!!

Originally ordered 5th May 2021. Was given a build date of week 7 in early January, in fact it was built by week 6 & shipped within 2 days around the 3rd week of February where it then arrived at our dealer on the 2nd March. We only picked it up today as we have been in Gran Canaria sunning it up! ☀🤣

Well pleased with it. Ours still had the 12" infotainment screen, the badge on the back is different (smaller) in black chrome & there is a VZ badge also. I think the wireless charging pad has been improved with ridges to stop your phone moving about. Everything else seems the same.

I hope yours comes soon & if you see us, give us a d
Flash!! 👍😉😁
The phone charger has always had the ridges on.

My vehicle arrived in Newcastle on 19/3/22. It is still in Newcastle. Arnold Clark blaming s lack of transporter drivers. Very frustrating.

I totally understand you! The one I agreed to have, after my VZ3 was postponed for next year due to the top view cameras, has been in the dealership for more than a 2 weeks and they don`t have enough time to register it and to take it through the workshop (this is at least what they said). Fingers crossed for this Friday but I don`t want to get too excited.

Formentor V2, manual, Graphene Grey, black leather, electric tailgate and pedal.

Finally picked mine up from dealership on Saturday afternoon and I'm loving it so far! Delighted that it came with the wavy foot peal after not being sure if it would or not. And the CUPRA lettering on the back is still the black version, not the chrome.

I've managed to sort out Apple car play and a few other basic bits but I need to take some proper time this weekend to get my head round the rest and set up my preferences on my driver profile. I'm hearing an intermittent knocking from somewhere in the passenger side but I'll need to get someone in the passenger seat to help me identify where it's coming from so it might be a trip back to dealership for me.

Also annoying that wireless charging doesn't work with my phone case. Grrr.

If you were the other happy customer picking also picking yours up from Arnold Clark in Glasgow late Saturday afternoon - I hope you're enjoying it too!

PS - @Big A - that yellow one is their current demonstrator - it's 'interesting' in yellow 😂

Well mine has arrived at the dealers just waiting to find out when I can collect it. I've asked for it to be updated to 1896 (currently on 1890) but this is proving difficult. Asked for all the delivery plastic to be left on and not cleaned as I don't want the free dealer scratches to be applied. :ROFLMAO:

Unfortunately I've also got the new dodgy silver Cupra letters on the boot so now I've got to try and order a set of black ones. :(

I wasn't aware of changes to the lettering on the rear. Does this apply to all versions?

On the video here sent me, he said it was new on the 310 so it now has a VZ on the back as well. He sounded quite impressed whereas I thought it looked a bit crap. I'll have to see if I can order a black badge through parts or I'll have to get the plastidip out. :ROFLMAO:

V2 190 in magnetic tech matte. Ordered Sep 21 via Stockport Cupra - to be delivered this Friday and I cannot wait!
I’m waiting on Stockport too!
do you know when yours arrived on the ship?!
I was told it came to Grimsby last weekend (around the 25th). I’ve had no news since!

Yeah, I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the yellow one. It is actually grey underneath the wrap. I did have a look for yours last Wednesday when I was picking mine up and even said to them that you were waiting to pick yours up and she asked for your name, but I don't think they would know you as @MoreCaffeinePlease 😂 there were a few new cars still with the transport stickers around the yard, and a Graphene one parked two up from me, but it was a VZ3 with the big brakes.

Yours is very similar to mine, although I have blue leather and the DSG box.

I also have an intermittent rattle from the front passenger side, but they couldn't hear it, and since I've got it back I can hear it more now. I've also got a loud and really annoying knocking coming from the rear, which I was told was from the rear seats and the noise resonated up the side of the car and to the roof which made sense to me as that's where it sounded like it was coming from. I was told there was a TPI for it (not so sure) and had been fixed. After a few miles driving home I thought it had been fixed as it was nice and silent, then it came back and is still as it was. I called them on Thursday to let them know and no reply, so tried Friday again, and no reply. I was busy yesterday, but they still never bothered to call despite two left messages, so will be back on their case today and if no reply an e-mail will be going to the service manager and branch manager.

Since they told me it was from the rear seats, I tried myself to see if I could trace it, and drove with the seats down (which wasn't as bad), took the rear seats out, and had the seat belts plugged in just in case they were hitting the plastic trim, and no luck.

When I put the rear seats down, I did notice their technical repair - a bit of sticky insulating felt wrapped around the hinge 🤦‍♂️

I picked up my car last Thursday and was told that the engine cover had been removed as they are awaiting a re-design as they found that the cover could come off when driving vigorously! I understand that this is not only on Cupras but also other models in the VW stable.

Hopefully they're going to retrofit the ones they've removed.

Well that's not a good start to my first Cupra ownership. I'd asked them to update the car to the latest software version before collecting the car and I've just been on the phone with them trying to explain what I mean. :ROFLMAO: I've been told that it over the air updates to the latest version so I can do this when I get the car. I explained that the car needs updating to the latest base version of software and that it wouldn't update to this over the air so could they plug it in via the workshop and have the latest version installed. I've just been told it doesn't work like that and it's a bit like an apple device that just because there's a newer version of software out doesn't mean my car will need it (well that's wrong as well). I repeated can you please just plug it in and force update it to 1896, he said he'd see if it's possible.

I've not even got the car yet and I'm already dealing with incompetent garages. :ROFLMAO:

I know, that's exactly what I thought.

It really is difficult when you feel like you know more than the so called experts, as you feel like you can't say 'no I'm sorry but you're wrong'. You just have to keep biting your lip and repeating the request. :ROFLMAO:
