Ooo unlucky mate, I had a choice last week between this and asphalt blue without extras. I went for the asphalt as pan roof is not for me.
Have a look at autotrader if you haven't yet
I've actually got one ordered and it's on the Aquarius Ace, coincidentally it's Asphalt blue. :) But the grey, roof and beats would've been my ideal spec hence calling them to try and bag it.

Ordered a V2 1.5 tsi DSG in sept 21 through motorfinity, had an email in Feb saying the provisional build date would be 14th March….all of a sudden It’s being delivered on Monday 😄
Did you have any extras or is it a standard car?

Theres no rhyme or reason to delivery dates, I've been told adding the power tailgate adds 12 weeks to any estimated build!

My understanding is that you can have the powered tailgate but you can't have the virtual pedal (Foot waving under bumper thing). If you want this feature you will have to wait a min 12 weeks. I had top-view camera and virtual pedal taken off my order and as far as I have been told I will still have a powered tailgate. There seems to be a bit of confusion about the whole Virtual Pedal topic. Unless something else has changed in the meantime?
Probably find out that the extra wiring loom for the powered tailgate is made in the Ukraine!

Just been watching the Seat conference, they asked the question of delivery's etc, just said about the chips, which were hoping it would get better by the end of the year, but then had the Ukraine war, so that's not helped things, apparently Ibiza and Arona aren't quite as bad, but the Cupras and anything with electricity is worse delays and if they knew when it' would get better they'd be rich (along those lines)

Interesting @Spivvy - so mine might not actually be on a boat just yet...as promised?! Hmmm.

Formentor V2, petrol, Graphene Grey, Black leather, elec tailgate

Arnold Clark have just confirmed mine is in the UK and awaiting transport to Glasgow, so it must have been on the United Spirit after all ! I'm hoping it'll be ready for collection this weekend (going on holiday on Monday for a week...typical timing!). I've ordered virtual tailgate but, as others have said, still a bit unclear at this stage if it's actually got the wavy foot pedal bit too or not...who knows. Just feel lucky that it's definitely here now instead of May/June as anticipated. Although the prospect of the infotainment system is now giving me the fear after reading yet more mixed comments 😰

Time to get the Merc ready to go!

I think collection this weekend may be a bit ominous. Mine left the port after coming off the United Spirit as well on the Thursday and arrived at the very same garage on the Friday and I picked it up the following Tuesday.

Yours sounds exactly the same as mine (Graphene with virtual tailgate), although mine has the blue leather. I wouldn't worry too much about the infotainment, as yours will likely come with the latest 1896 version which has solved a lot of the issues. In fact mine is going into Arnold's on Tuesday for the software update and a couple of other things for them to look at, so will keep a lookout for your car in the car park when I'm there if you've not picked it up before then.

Thanks @Big A - useful timings. Perhaps ambitious for weekend pickup then but they didn't flat out say it wasn't possible, so we'll see 🙏🏼 I'll remain cautiously optimistic. Do let me know if you see it on Tuesday though!

Also reassuring about latest software - I'll check that as soon as I can.

I was told by my dealer having a virtual pedal has added 12 weeks on top. I had no delivery date at the time just a finger in the air guess and a of June 22. When I asked to cancel the pedal, I would have to cancel complete car order and reorder, so delivery would be 2023!! So now its Octoberish

My salesman (Phil) was really good at keeping me updated when the car had arrived in the UK and when it would arrive with them. When they did receive it he again let me know when it should be ready and it was actually ready a couple of days quicker than I had thought.

If you don't have by Tuesday, post up and let me know and I'll have a look around when I'm there to see if I can see it.

Will do - much obliged. And sounds like we have the same salesman too, so give him a nudge from me ha!

My V2 formentor arrived Monday (ordered very late September) and I love it! It looks great and a dream to drive! I’m trying to get to grips with the infotainment system, which is a bit fiddly and confusing, but I’m getting there.
A couple of things that I’m hoping someone on here can help with:
1. I’ve got the app and it works fine, as far as it goes however, I’ve only had it two days and I keep getting emails telling me that my seat connect services have been deactivated, the most resent just now when sat on the sofa and not deactivating anything! Stops me seeing where the car is etc. Did it last night too and in the morning it had started working again. Is this a thing?
2. It’s the DSG semi auto, and when I’m parking on a hill, it rolls back between changing gear and coming off the brake. Other autos I’ve had have a hold function that keeps the brake on until you press the accelerator, is there a setting somewhere to activate this?
Hope someone can help!

I'm not too sure about the app, I've had no problems with mine. The DSG does have auto hold, the button is the one to the left of the electric hand break :)

Pretty much the same letter VW sent me. Its a lottery when you get a car!
I got this letter and went to dealer yesterday to see what was what. Got told my build date has gone from week 13 to week 17 . The biggest problem I have is the PCP deal ends on my mini on 23rd May and with the new date, there is no chance that the new car will be ready in time. Dealer said I could phone mini finance and "extend the deal" or sell it to the Cupra dealer on the day it ends. Anyone else have experience of this and what was the outcome?

So.. Took up mine this Friday. 2 days later I'm already in love. (Magnetic Grey, 1.5 150hp, full options except for Alarm, Roof top, Beats and Top View camera)
Not a long wait in final for me, only 56 days since the final order in late January. It's personal record for a new car delivery on my side

First time for me with automatic and DSG, and I can't already get back to manual. So smooth driving, so precise... love it!

150hp engine is enough for me, it make good acceleration (totally different feeling on the quite same engine in my old Touran 1.4 TSI 150hp)

No bug for the moment, on the 1890 update. Don't know if 1896 can be done with OTA... no update available in the settings

No options missing, I have the virtual pedal and tow bar.

Only a few downside coming from VW Touran (2016)
  • No small storage, even for a single sunglasses (ordering today sunglasses box from Aliexpress). Of course Touran is more for familly, but come on, just want some little storage, not the same as the Touran.
  • Armrest should be 10 cm longer, but with DSG is not really a problem (too short for manual gear !)
  • Same for my left (right drive) elbow to put on the door (too high)
  • Front cover without pneumatic arm ??? really ? Ok, not a big deal as I open it once a year... but at this price ..
Otherwise, I juste want to drive it everytime
