Ateca roof bars

Currently have an Altea XL which after 90K miles of excellent service will be moving on once a brand new Ateca Experience gets built and transported across to the UK.

Does anyone know if the roof bars (genuine SEAT) that fit across the roof for bikes etc will fit on an Ateca. There is some adjustment, but is the same type of claw and stud fitting (which is very good) used on the Ateca?

Pass on this. You might need to look at like for like fittings and extrapolate as to whether the Seat Altea ones will work. Roof bars aren't something I've got into too.

I reckon Seat motor parts might be able to give you a steer on this Robin.

Yes you should never be frightened of the parts department or asking the sponsor here. What we can also say that roof bars that fit the Karoq will also fit the Ateca since its essentially the same body. May be true of the Tarraco / Kodiak. This is where I was thinking you rifled the details and fitting types and decided yourself or ask the parts department. Skoda parts can be fun if you find them to fit. Like the ice scraper for the fuel cap. Seat never gave you the umbrella mount thou....
