My Formentor was about to hit 1,000 miles, so I decided it was time to give it a treat to a proper clean and a ceramic coating.
My mates mate is a mobile detailer/valeter, so he came out and got it all nice and shiny and the paintwork protected.
For those of you who are into your cleaning, this is the process he used:-
Iron fall out remover
VS Pro Ph- Citrus Foamed to loosen dirt
Rinsed and re-foamed
Wheels cleaned with soft detailing brush
2 Bucket wash with guards
Plush wash mitt, Wash and Wax
Dried with plush drying towel
Ceramic drying aid and ceramic sealant
Tyres dressed
Dash and interior plastics cleaned
Full vaccum
Carpets striped
Windows cleaned
Now on to the pictures
A few hours after all the work was done and the car looking fantastic, the rain, sleet and snow started
But now that it's all melted and the sun has come out, it allows some obligatory beading pics
Here is also a couple of videos of the car before and after.
Before ceramic coating
After ceramic coating
And it hit 1,000 miles this morning too!
