Anyone notice the dark camo colour option has been removed on the configurator? I ordered mine in this colour when still available, hence the interest. Only the red and graphene available. Thinking of contacting dealer to change to the graphene. Welcome any views on how practical this colour is as it appears quite "flat" compared to some of the metallic options.

I liked the colour- and now it’s more exclusive! Don’t change!

The name doesn't help and the fact that it's green. When I was looking for a car I was offered a dark camo and my immediate reaction was no, but then when I actually saw a car in that colour it was much better than I'd imagined. So it was a simple knee jerk reaction that was the deciding factor. A lot of people still think green cars are unlucky, so I can easily see people saying no based on it being'green'. :ROFLMAO:

It is a very nice color!
I have one.
Just apply teflon over it ;-)

People these days only ever want monotone colours

Black, white, silver, grey

Beyond bloody boring or what
Could be, although you cannot say black is boring just pain to keep it clean, , however a better resale when time comes for all these colours,

For what I have seen I can say that black, mate blue and dark camouflage is the best colors for this car.
All others just looks a bit weird in combination with cooper logo and wheels.

Agree that the Formentor does look better in dark colours. I think it also looks good in Desire Red.

The downside of dark coloured cars is that they’re a labour of love to keep looking clean and will quickly show paintwork swirls if a safe wash technique isn’t used (not sure if a matt colour would show swirls). Therefore, IMHO automatic car washes, the many hand car wash places and dealer complementary services washes (a.k.a the free scratch and swirl treatment) should be avoided at all costs by anyone who values the condition of their car’s paintwork, whatever the colour of their car.

I was looking at getting the dark camo but looks like gone. Managed to find this older link below. This still shows the colour but the double Asterix eludes to it being gone in Dec 2022 so maybe they've pulled it in advance :(
