Whats my car worth?

Heres my 2004 leon cupra r (225 BAM)
73k miles
2 owners
full service history with receipts
the only modifications i have made to the car is AP racing coilovers and a custom made steering wheel. Apart from this my car is stock.

Ive seen the current used car market prices and im temped to let her go.
I was hoping someone could point me in the correct direction for how much i would be looking at getting.

HA .. I'm sure someone out there will take it off your hands for a decent price. I was searching up and down for a car to last me until my Golf R arrives (which has already been delayed by a month).. Paid 3.5K for a middle of the road 2010 Toyota and it's not immaculate, at least it drives though.

That's about the bar for people buying cars at the moment, does it move? Anyway from a quick valuation search if the car's in decent condition it should be worth about 3K private or 2.5K trade in.

I should have sead. It was my old Cupra tdi 150 (well 180 lol).

Oh and p.s for sale time take off the wind deflectors, fit standard plates and chrome S badge.

stock collectibles are where the money is. Modified doesn’t sell anywhere near as well when you get to modern classic stage where the mk1 LCR now is

I paid £3500k in 2019 for the same specs. Seem to go for £6k now

I agree with this 100%. The 1st ever Cupra i drove had been heavily modified and went like a rocket. Was possibly the ropeyest car ive ever driven. Since then, ive avoided modded cars when purchasing.

Also, youll be able to set your price and (tyre kickers asside) a prospective buyer will struggle to knock the price too much if the car is in a clean standard condition.

Cheers for the advice,

Probably going to try keep the miles off it for now and try keep it clean as i can whilst i save for something new.
Paid 5K for it with 50k miles and 1 owner from new in 2019, so either way i think i should do pretty well.
Hopefully the market carries on in the same direction.
