I’m with select car leasing and have paid the admin fee. I have to pay the deposit 7-14 days after delivery.

Hi. Did they give you an update or did you have to ask for another update?

I'm with Leasing Options too.

I emailed them a few times asking for updates to which they couldn’t give any at that time. I gave up for a few weeks then, but they did inform me of my estimated delivery date by email out of the blue as soon as they got an update on my vehicle

Ordered a 1.5 TSI DSG V2 around the 20th of September from UK Carline (was a stock order they placed in May). According to their supplier, it's showing as "In transit from Factory" since last week, update earlier today still showing the same thing.

On track for a late November delivery to me, car was also build week 36 according to them.

Wow that's almost identical to me, ordered on the 22nd Sept. I'll chase for an update as well from UK Carline.

Contacted Leasing Options yesterday to get an update, last one was that car would be at dealership by 18th Nov....Attention..goalposts moved.
Latest update from dealership is that they don't know if car was shipped. A number of cars are not scanned when loaded 🙄 so they don't know what will arrive.
Not too happy with the lack of information/communication from the dealership and Leasing Options.

There's another ship currently berthed in Barcelona. It's one that Cupra regularly use to ship cars to the UK. United Spirit will shortly leave for Tanger, Morocco. From then on, it's likely to be headed for Sheerness, maybe with a stop at Setubal in Portugal.
It's not headed to Italy, that;s an error!

Think its headed for Tanger, Zeebrugge, possibly Amsterdam, then Tyne. I was told my car was due to go on the ship yesterday, so been checking on its position. Also see that Neptune Hellas is docked beside it, although not sure of its route or if Cupra use that vessel as well.

Nice to be in the know. I was just guessing!

Hopefully you got good news! I had a call from my customer service contact explaining the shipping process as they understand it (quite different from everyone elses experience here though)

According to their supplier, the cars are shipped from Spain onto Germany first and then onto the UK and that it's not trackable until it hits UK shores. Maybe something specific with the supplier but who knows!

Well looks like something is up... this is the reply I just got....

"
We have received an update from the supplier and your vehicle is partially built and at factory waiting for semi-conductor part to be fitted. When the status changes to ‘In transit from factory’ the builds complete and we would be looking at 5 weeks to delivery. Your car isn't at that point yet, with this in mind we would be looking at late December at the earliest

We are constantly checking for updates with the supplier and we will keep our eyes on this and as soon as we have more information from the manufacturers and a more accurate lead-time for delivery we will be in touch."

Great.... not happy....

I'm no nearer knowing when my car might arrive. See below from Leasing Options:

"Just to keep you updated the dealer has chased the factory and they still have no confirmed date / ETA, we will of course keep checking and let you know as soon as we get any more news."

Kind Regards

Claire

I feel for you guys, seems no matter forum this is on we have a carrier full of cars from Seat and not many Cupras on it. I hope you hear some news, I was lucky enough to get my order booked but just to let you know my lease company didnt know anything about or until I told them a dealer had called me.Personally if I was a leasing agent I'd want to know where my 37k vehicle is to be honest.
