Urgent help needed

Hi all, my seat leon fr 184 2.0tdi 2014 has started to go into limp mode. Mostly when going into redline, the glow plug light flashes. Turn the car on and off and its back to normal until redline again, plugged into diagnostics and it comes with fault code P00AF turbo boost control A module. Anyone had this issue before and resolved it? Would this be the vanes or actuator? Haven't heard or found a post of anyone with vanes issue on the newer tdi engines but still a possibility.

Sounds just like a faulty sensor. The ECU is likely getting erroneous readings that can't be correct based on whatever values.

I'm no expert but something like a MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor maybe. The MINIs me and the wife used to have were notorious for being in accurate and failing. Across 5 mini's think we were in double digits for new MAF sensors under warranty.

Thanks for the reply, yeah I thought this aswell. Was told to drive without the Maf sensor and see how it felt but still experienced this limp mode. I can see the actuator through the top and when revving it does move but it seems shake up and down alot.
Drive without the MAF sensor? What!? I would not recommend that at all.

Lad, I'd stop redlining it until the issue is fixed 😂
Yeah I assumed that was a given :ROFLMAO:
