Wow it will be a nice jump in HP, just wished we were near Germany so that speed Wont be a problem but alas the UK Camera's everywhere :(
Tell me about it! Up here in Cumbria it's not too bad, plenty of open stretches to make the most of that power but still got to keep the eye out for the mobile vans / patrol cars. ;)

Yep, I'll definitely be getting gap. I want to try and sort insurance out without registration as it's already £1,500 when I put the date far enough in advance, anything sooner than 7 days it's upwards of £1,800
(I'm 20 so insurance isn't cheap!)
Hi.
Please feel free to give us a try for insurance if you haven't done so already.
Regards,
Dan.

Aquarius ace just left Barcelona port 🤞
So glad I'm not the only one that's stalking vehicle carriers. Hoping mine is on it. It got to port a week after hubby's Arona & his was on United Spirit I think

I'm in the exact same boat as you, with who did you get a quote for £1,500?! The cheapest I've been able to find for myself is £1,900 😬

Hi, I’m new to this forum!

Given the chip shortage, some car makers are removing features from orders such as adaptive cruise control, cameras, or fancy headlights etc. Has anyone heard of this happening with the Cupra Leon? Has anyone had their Safety and Driving pack removed for instance? Ta.

I ordered a vz3 with M safety pack back in june, not got a build date yet which sucks, other people who have ordered one without options have had theirs built or built awaiting chips.
Have asked leasing options if the safety pack is removed will it get built quicker, not had a response back yet.

HI Welcome to the Forums Jimwenham, the packs as I'm aware will incur a longer waiting time because of the Semiconductor shortage therefore requiring more chips to complete an average order it appears however standard spec `s are getting pushed off the line first.

Leasing Options may be able to push it through as long as the order hasn't been pushed to SEAT/Cupra Gibraltar, so personally I would contact the Customer Services number for Leasing options, please note these company's have a terrible reply rate on emails and you may find it quicker to call then and ask to speak to someone from the Administration department for further assistance.

I would personally say I ordered a standard spec (NO Optional Extras) on a VZ2 and the Lead time remains unchanged, for me personally its something you may have liked on a older car but me personally I didn't have the option of Self driving /Lane assist or Blind spot so I would not miss these options (id rather have the opportunity of driving it), however its how you want your spec to be at the end of the day.

Had I been aware of the issue adding the pack when ordering I would not have done it, but at the time £5 a month for adaptive cruise was worth it for me.
Although the ordered has been placed it still isn't even on status 10 so can still be changed.
Therefore if removing the pack gets it built quicker then thats what i'll do.

Can anyone else elaborate on build times especially if leasing through leasing options please?

So today I asked if taking the M safety pack off would make the car come quicker and the dealers responded with the following.

No I don’t think so. This isn’t confirmed but I believe it’s due to the emissions targets. As its coming up to the end of the year they will be mindful of what they are producing.
