won't be long hopefully ,i think mine was one of a large batch with pre booked build slots and i just made it .i did my first launch the other day and used the dragy box i was quite surprised i got a 4.39 especially as it's not got many miles on it ....i got down to 25 miles in the tank 2 days ago before i could find some 99 ron fuel ,i never run 95 in anything a bit sporty never have in the last 7 years ,if i can't get any i have some octane booster at the ready..
I’m curious to know if that very impressive 0-60 was achieved using launch control?

So I’ve had a look at what else I can get after being told my VZ2 310 that should have been built and on its way to me this month will now be week 24 2022, meaning it would be a year from ordering it. I can get a Hyundai i30 N performance by the end of this year, and for a good bit less monthly cost wise. As much as the i30 is a great drive, the interior is bland compared to the Formentor. Other alternative from the Cupra dealer is they have just got in a Cupra Leon R ST, it’s expensive but they are trying to sort a deal that would give me this until the Formentor arrives (if it ever does). Only have a few days to choose 🤯

Absolutely shocking the way that Cupra have treated you (and many others) but at least your dealer is trying to help.

I went for a formentor 245 hybrid which is in stock when I found my 310 wasn't going to be built anytime soon.
Still decent performance and I'll save a fortune on fuel (we do mostly less than 25 miles a day) and I'll get it in a few weeks.

I can’t fault the dealer really, they’re doing what they can to help. Biggest problem is lack of information from Cupra themselves. Getting totally fed up not knowing what’s happening, to the point I’m thinking why give them my business

So it looks like Cupra/SEAT new policy is not to give out information on the build status of our cars. Having spoken to Cupra last Monday and told my car was built and awaiting microchips, they said to contact them again at the start of this week. Having heard last Wednesday that someone else with the same build week as my car had their car confirmed as complete, I contacted them again last Thursday and was given the line of their systems were down and being updated and to contact them again in a few weeks! Having previously been told to contact them this week I did so earlier today, and it now seems that the systems down story was a load of BS, and the policy is to direct you to your retailer. As mentioned in a previous post, I know more about the build of my car than my dealer, however, called them earlier for an update and still await my salesman returning my call.

Starting to wish I'd maybe went ahead with the order for a BMW 128ti now, as my mate who ordered his new X3 two weeks before I ordered my Formentor, has had his car for nearly three weeks now.

I gave up with customer support for the sake of my mental health!

I'd take that message from them with a pinch of salt. I called them and spoke to a human rather than a webchat this time, and was physically told that they will no longer give out build or progress information to customers and to deal directly with the dealer.

Not sure what to make of it just yet, but there are currently no vehicle carriers at Barcelona. A few people have been told that their cars should be on the next boat leaving today, 13th October. The only regular vehicle carrier anywhere close is the Neptune Hellas, which is currently docked in Tarragona, so there is a chance that this may be the boat scheduled to collect vehicles from Barcelona today?

Aquarius Ace is currently docked in Grimsby.

United Spirit will be arriving in Barcelona around 10:00pm tonight. It's coming from Livorno, Italy. This ship has been used to transport Seats and Cupras along with Fiats and Alfa Romeos to the UK more than once before. This is a well worn route. Hopefully on it's way to the UK in the next day or two.

Just had some great news. My dealer just contacted me to say my car is now Status 30 and in complete build :D

He is going to try and find out its shipping slot and what vessel it will be put on and keep me updated.
That’s great news! Did you also order the 190 V2 like me or am I remembering wrong :D if so then maybe that bodes well for my order!

I hope so for your sake. But has anybody received any good news about a 310 lately?

Thanks. No, it’s the 150 V2 DSG I ordered with a couple of options.
