When did you order, when is it arriving?

Ordered mine in mid May, went into production over a month ago. Chased them Friday gone and its in the same status.
They think the car is built and waiting for some parts.

I think there are quite a few of us in the same situation. I’m guessing that if one of us gets a fully built car, the rear of us should soon follow.

So we originally ordered grey but they said that it was not an option so we agreed to switch to black. I can only guess I took someone else’s order.

I would note we were contacted to say the car was built but the. we were then notified that it was not finished and they could not give us a date. Then two weeks later we got sent the documents with reg and now we have confirmed deliver. This all happened over the course of September.

wish you all the best and hopefully the cars arrive soon.

I’ve heard similar stories elsewhere. Namely that people have been told that the car wasn’t quite complete then the next thing you know it’s on a ship and on the way to the UK. Makes me hope that the UK Cupra database may be out of date and that we may get our cars sooner than we think.

I threatened them with cancellation and they had no issue with it. There is a cancellation clause in the documents though which is 5% of order value if I remember correctly. I'm not entirely sure if they can try and charge it if the vehicle hasn't even commenced production. You've probably paid an admin fee to Leasing options so they're not out of pocket but the dealership may be for losing a sale. Ask the account manager, mine just said I was more than welcome to cancel (I might yet) and didn't mention it costing me any money.
My order was with leasing options and was no problem to cancel because it hadn't been built or even had a build date.
The only thing I lost was the arrangement fee.

I collected my VZ3 today, ordered it mid April. All the neighbours are curious to know what it is, even a Seat owner! I had to drive home with the blower on as I didn’t have a clue how to turn them off. I’ll post some pics in due course.

I've ordered that grey. Is there any flake through the paint? It's meant to be metallic but looks like a flat colour in photos.

Looks like cupra are getting overwhelmed with people wanting to track there cars, so they've started to say please contact your dealer 🤦‍♂️.

What's the point of that? Surely Cupra as the brand and UK head office with contact to the factory will be in a better position than the dealer to give out information about builds and progress. I haven't heard from my dealer since I asked for my SLI number after ordering, so I would guess if I asked him for progress I'd likely have the car before a response. As Cupra always tell me to check back with them at a certain time as "that's what we're here for", I will be continuing to pester Cupra directly as surely that is what customer services is there for.
