Seat Leon Fog light grill

I’m looking to see if I can fit whole grill to my fog grill,

I have hit a pigeon and smashed my light out as the picture attached,

I was wondering if I can fit some full grills in there instead of having the fog light?
Thank you

The Cupra version of the grills is a full grill with a n opening to channel air to the brakes. However, your air won't get channelled anywhere without the plastics behind the bumper being altered too.

But would they still fit on my car?

Thanks

You’ll probably find it will fail the MOT because you’ve removed the fog light.

Why? Front fog lights are not a legal requirement. If they're obviously fitted but a bulb has gone, maybe. But if there are no units at all then I can;t see how it would fail.

Yes, a lot of others have done this. The bumper is near enough identical. Its just the 5 'holes' above the number plate that are different.

Depends on the age of the car I think. Cars from 2018 but I could be wrong. Plus if the op is going to get rid of the damaged one, he’ll have to get rid of the other as front ones have to be in pairs.

Cupra R ST doesn't have front fogs 🤷‍♂️ and is newer than 2018.

Also their car is pre 2018. And if they swap the headlight switch (like I did when fitting my R grills) you wouldn't know it ever had fogs without getting a spec list out.

Brill Thank you mate!!
As your fogs are halogens, you may need to get someone with OBD Eleven to disable any warning lights from having disconnected fogs. As a bulb warnign light on the dash is a fail on an MOT.

And if you want to tidy up the interior switch do an ebay search for 5G0941431S for a replacement switch :) Takes 30 seconds to swap :)
