I ordered mine from them 2 weeks ago today and just had an email telling me it will be built 5/7 and then 6 or so weeks to the dealer. This is great for me as I don't need it until early November.

When I ordered mine in April, it was one of the already secured build slots. So was lucky as long as I wanted what they’d already spec’d (which I did). But I was told back then, if I wanted a different spec, the factory order would be October.
So ordering now for October seems very good indeed. 👍🏼

Some of the Leasing Options orders are/were Pipeline Stock, so depending on what you've ordered, some will be much sooner than others.

snap ,the batch we ordered from leasing options was a large order they put in with cupra ,i spoke with leasing options yesterday and they explained they ordered 400 cupras that is why the price was so good, still saying anyone who has a car in that batch will get it early october or sooner.they have not been allocated a build week as yet.

Is it the Finance company behind the broker that ultimately has acquired the order slots?

I went with Nationwide but finance company is ALD Automotive. I thought most brokers order from the same pool anyway.

Anyone heard anything further regarding lead times? Leasing options have gone a little quiet on me, but I'm also aware I annoy frequently them asking for more specific information.

Haven’t heard a thing for weeks now. Would have been 2 months at the end of the week since I placed an order with Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.

In Estonia: Ordered mine on 22nd of February. Still no build date. Friend did a test drive yesterday and was quoted 9 months for Formentor. Also the salesperson said that most trouble is with cars ordered Feb and March. Sent another e-mail to them yesterday, no answer. Might be canceling the order if I have to wait till Christmas. For Ateca and Tarraco they said guaranteed delivery in 4 months...?? I was told that the Formentor is a Halo model and will be built first and all other models should be waiting in line. By contract my car should have been given over to me yesterday, latest... I also read in a thread that a guy ordered a hybrid and it will be with him in less than 3 weeks. What is going on? chip shortage or not but doesnt a hybrid need probably more chips than a 310 full petrol model? Anyways, getting more than a bit frustrated as I sold my Cupra 300 a few months back as at that time they said normal delivery time. But going a against a winter without a car in Estonia is not a lot of fun with a 2 y.o. child.

I think that hybrids were pre- built without orders, so there's a lot cars in stock or coming soon. When they all sell, there will be similar wait for them.

The company got back to me just to say that there is no build date as of yet.

The good news however was that the dealer handling it is a local one so I'll be collecting it from there rather than having it delivered.

Just got an email from leasing options saying this.

Just to update you on the progress of your new vehicle. I have received an update from the dealer and its currently showing due to them 30/08/2021. This is only an approximate due date and it may change. I will, of course, keep you updated on any changes.
Once the vehicle arrives into stock I will give you a call to advise further.

I placed mine with Nationwide Vehicle Contracts and I had a very generic email yesterday. I got super excited as it was titled "An update regarding your order" - to which it said "We dont have an update, but we will let you know when we do" ... such a tease.
