For those who have leased recently, a little consolation is while bored I ran the figures again through the leasing company to see if it’s changed. Glad I ordered when I did as it gone up by £62 month. Big jump in a short space of time.

Best deal I could find on Lease Loco for same terms as my deal have gone up £100 a month. I signed for my car mid April. Crazy money needed now for the same car on same terms.

I know, starting to get rather expensive to lease and getting up there with other high end brands.

Yeah it has gone crazy!

The cheapest deal I could find was this one below:

9+23 with 5000 miles and £2800 upfront - £311 inc VAT

When have people asked for an update from their leasing company? 1 month after ordering?

Just had an update email from leasing company to tell me still no build date, but they will continue to chase dealer to get one.
Just have to wait and see.

I've ordered a cupra Leon vz3 which I got on a three year deal. No deposit at £344 including vat with 10k miles a year (awesome value) and was told this would be delivered in August. After asking today I've been advised this might now be October 😟

Such an odd market to assess. The Formentor deals have risen sharply in the last couple of months, but your deal sounds very good for the Leon. Who is it through?
I was wondering whether car manufacturers are now using lower deals as bait to secure orders in this period of lengthening delivery times, but that would contradict what we’ve seen on the Formentor. So who knows. 🤷🏻‍♂️
Hope October is a case of under promising and over delivering for you. 👍🏼

Leasing options. You're right about the formentor deals though as they were looking too pricey in comparison otherwise I'd have gone for one

Yeah, I’ve got a Formentor hopefully due in a few weeks through Leasing Options, they’d secured 15 build slots earlier in the year and I managed to bag one in April. Leon looks a great car. I think Cupra have some great looking and spec’d cars.
