Instrument cluster problem

Hi, any help or advice here would be appreciated.

Today I started my car (2016 1.2 TSI Dynamic Technology) and after a few seconds of driving, I glanced at the instrument cluster, only to realise that the display panel in the centre between the dials is completely dead. Everything else seem to be working normally, but there is nothing at all in the centre display panel, and the car runs perfectly. Can anybody give me a clue where to go from here. I do not have carista or any diagnostic equipment, and cannot really afford main dealer diagnostic/prices.

Cheers.

Phil.

Then I'd suggest you research a local VAG specialist, their diagnostice rate will be lower for sure,

http://volkswagen-audi-mechanic.co.uk/ as an example. Nothing more than a quick google by me.
Good shout, they are only about 10 miles from me. I was hoping someone else might have had this problem, and say it was as simple as a fuse or similar, but I don't think I will be that lucky. I cannot find any posts in the leon forum with this exact same problem.
