The website and forums can now be installed as a native app

Thanks to the recent upgrade of the platform you can now install the website and forums as a progressive web app on your mobile device or desktop.

You will get a prompt to do so, and it is also available under the menu when accessing the site on a mobile as shown below

If you use chrome I had to do it from the 3 dots menu and where mine says open app it was install app, hope thats the same for ios lol

From what I've read it can take 24 hours + for browsers to check if it's available.

Do either of you have the option of adding it to your home screen? Also are you using Chrome or another browser in your fine iPhones?

It took a few hours for the option to appear, but now installed.
Works on my Samsung S8

It goes to load up and then returns back to the home screen , it dont display any error messages unfortunately

Odd - might sort itself out in a day or so if it's related to the browser checking periodically. As far as I'm aware the software is using defined web standards.

Does exactly the same on my s10 even left the app on 24hrs and still goes back to home screen, uninstalled and downloaded again but still does the same.
