Looking at results and price, plus keeping the GPF('s). this looks like an interesting offer. But I wouldn't call this a "classic" stage 2, because the OEM downpipe and cat are used. Results could be even better with a bigger downpipe with a 200 or 100 cell cat. I was hoping REVO was developing such a downpipe that could be connected to the OEM GPF('s). That hope is now gone. There's still hope that one of the exhaust specialists will present one though, fingers crossed.
Yes indeed very interesting. I agree, if they were to make a gpf-less stage 2 tune I'd be the first to get it, because ea888 gen 3 engines are reliable enough, and by removing it you have one less thing to worry about.
Keeping the GPF and going full Stage 2 is impossible. No tuner would take the risk to keep the GPF since they cannot know what temperatures it can handle etc.
Let's just say that Revo offers Stage 2 lite. Nevertheless advertised figures are more than interesting but I would still like to see some dragy pulls to see how it compares to older non-GPF Stage 2 Cupras.
I'd be interested in that too. However on that page the 3rd graph shows dyno pulls from a nonGPF and a GPF engine, not exactly draggy but still.

I don't think I'll be the first to get it, pretty much for the same reasons you mentioned, so I believe in time there will be someone who has done it so they can give us a more detailed

I don't know how Revo 's file looks like but you also have to understand the tuner mkt strategy.
Intercooler will not give you any gains but keep the performance for longer time. Actually in the same conditions the stock IC will have less lag than a bigger one, but once the small gets the temperature high, the ECU will pull less timing and so. Result , less power. Ideally I would install a water meth injection kit w/ stock IC .
GPF is problematic if the tune is not done correctly because the restrictions, temps and the lack of XP (not because the tuner xp but because the GPF is something "new")

I know what you're saying and I was debating a water meth kit on a previous car but it's not something I would do at this point in my life (it's also illegal where I live). I had a stage 3 custom hybrid turbo car so what you writing isn't unfamiliar territory for me
Generally intercooler isn't required for any stage 2 map but as I think there is some intensive R&D behind revo's stage 2 map so that they keep the GPF, meaning that the map is likely designed to take advantage of an intercooler (i.e. higher requested timing), conditions must be close to perfect to put out the advertised 400hp, colder air = denser = more oxygen rich, hence the required intercooler (that's just my thinking).
Removing the GPF is the "easy way out" to tune this engine, I appreciate the time and effort they put into developing a GPF stage 2, but don't get me wrong if they offered a GPFless tune (marketed as racetrack only) next to that I'd prefer it.
