I have a new set of Michelin Pilot sports that were ordered incorrectly for another car I’m getting soon.
They are 235/40 R 18
LCR has 225/40 R 18
Has anyone run these? Any problems?
My car is on standard suspension.
A mate who has worked as a tyre fitter for years and is now a techy at BMW has sent me all the comparison charts and looks like they’ll be fine, just wandered if anyone has already done this?
cheers,
Nathan.

Hi mate you should be fine, I run 235,40,18 on mine and its got a 20mm drop all round and also has spacers to just come out to the lip of the arches, ive experienced no tyre rub or turning issues and ive run this for a couple of year now.

May put your speedo out slightly.
Maybe run a satnav with mph on it to see if theres any variation.
Dont want those cameras catching ya!
