so, can we actually (legally) use this in the uk?

2nd Para in article link above ;)

"Reliant on the Department for Transport’s studies into the feasibility of allowing electric scooters to be used on the pavement, cycle lanes and public roads by trialling rental schemes, such as those seen in other European cities, SEAT sees the SEAT MÓ as a solution. This is subject to completion of the trials and them being legalised. If this happens, SEAT will make these vehicles available to purchase in the UK."

I like it.
I wonder how much they would be.
Also, will they stay legal? Itll only take a few idiots using them where they shouldnt and theyll ban them.

Like the powered scooters now...users don't give a 'fig' for cars on the road or pedestrians on the pavement. I just want to run them over but not have to touch up the paintwork afterwards .

e-scooters are "legal" in Milton Keynes now but only if you hire one from Lime. its not legal to own one and use it in public.

Cant help but think SEAT UK have missed a trick here, MK is one of the "testing" places along with London for e-scooters, SEAT UK could of jumped on this and hired a load out.

I still fancy one of these.
But im guessing its still in the balance weather they will be legal for general use.
I wouldn't be happy if i got one and it was confiscated by the cops.
