Fitted the turbo gauge I had left over from my mazda 3 tonight. I was unhappy with the false info the sports counter displayed and wanted something accurate which this provides. Also for those with OCD from my positioning , The 0 sits in the centre and I can properly see it from the -20 - 15 psi the car uses with iut the steering wheel blocking me.

So after a couple of days I popped a review to go with the facebook post

So 2 days in and the general feed back is I’m very happy with it. The doesn’t rock around so much and feels more positive when the pedal is pressed. Redline gear changes are much smoother (yes I have a manual). Letting of the throttle the engine doesn’t ‘rock’ as much as it used too.

Low rpms and slow manoeuvres it’s transmits vibes but a small sacrifice for overall improvement.

One curious thing I’ve noticed. I got rid of my soundaktor and this now transmits more noise into the cabin. My personal experience so not sure if it’s just me but I like it as it’s genuine noise.

I love this! Do you mind me asking where you got the vent with the slot for the gauge?

Was this hard to fit? Would definitely be something I’d be interested in

It was an easy fit. 20-30 mins. Runs through the left of the bonnet through the front a pillar and up under the dash to gauge. If you have any questions i can grab some pics for you.

So a couple of minor changes, a decat pipe is now on there and I've had the car remapped based on the NVM-R. The car is a totally different animal now. The estimated 375bhp 500nm has brought the car to life. Although not slow to start with this has turned into a point hold on and go.

With this being a stage 2 map on a stock FMIC i've bitten the bullet and got a DO88 intercooler coming to go with the airtec charge pipe kit to keep temps under control. A bit of adjustment on the exhaust setup to go and I'll be happy for a long time after this

So things have been a little slow over Covid lockdown 1 and 2 ******* things up for us all this year.

The car has been maturing nicely and I'm looking forward too fitting DO88 coolant hoses, 370mm TTRS rakes and the rear 356mm disc upvraxe from Vagbremtech as the stoppers currently are crap. Pics to follow once all doen this weekend

Some rear disc loveliness to go with the minor frontal upgrade and something for the rear window.
