Lucky git!Managed to convince the missus to have my Leon and we're gonna PX her car for a Cupra.
Going to look at a few on the 24th, can't wait to join the fast side
I took my whole bumper off to do it. Going to be swapping them again (for some with a different paint scheme) so tempted to see if I can take off my current R grills without taking the bumper off. As I did not enjoy taking it off.Rain cleared up so got the car cleaned.

Then the sun came out so thought why not give swapping the grills out a go. Was surprisingly easy once I enlisted the help of my younger brother and my dog.

I've had protected no claims for a number of years now. Helped somewhat when I demolished next doors visitor's Fiesta that they parked overhanging my driveway by 18". I seem to have bad luck when it comes to accidents with Fords in general.Watch them with your No Claims
My friend reversed into my car and claimed through his insurance, then next renewal my no claims came back 10 years down to 3 as although it was not my fault it was still a 'claim'
They re-instated my 10 years NCB after i went mental as a 'gesture of good will'
Great addition to the car but I'd change that copper detail if I were you. It doesn't go with the red.Rain cleared up so got the car cleaned.

Have they changed the grill on the MY20? The top of yours looks different to mine. Looks like the blanking of the holes is set further forward on yours.Rain cleared up so got the car cleaned.

It actually looks a lot better in person. When I get my camera out tomorrow I’ll get some snaps of it and show you. I was originally planning on painting them red to match the car, but after seeing them in the car in person it doesn’t look too bad.Great addition to the car but I'd change that copper detail if I were you. It doesn't go with the red.
Haven’t used fog lights at all in the last 7 years I’ve had cars with fog lights. The rear ones yes, front ones no, and the turning thing annoyed me and was the first thing I disabled after the soundaktorDo you guys do not miss the fog light? I use the fog lights are curve light (from 70km/h and lower).

It’s the same, just the angle I took the photo at and shoddy camera quality on my phoneHave they changed the grill on the MY20? The top of yours looks different to mine. Looks like the blanking of the holes is set further forward on yours.

Wonder if the R grills will be harder, as they were a tight fit when refitting them. BUt that may of been because the bumper off of the car is so flimsy.im not kidding when I said it was easy, Jack the car up take the wheel off, there were 7 or 8 screws to undo, take the mud protector off and push the grill clips while someone pulls from the front. Probably not as easy to do on your own, and there is a risk you might bust the clips on the grill since you can only get to three of them from the back. But once you get the corner off the others come off nice and easy.
