Will surprise a few people in a straight line for sure.Yeah, always been a fan of big yank tanks, managed to get it for £330 a month on 8k mileage on a 3+23 and haggle them down on the metallic paint so win win

Any depreciation loss will be negligible - and as a lease who cares!I just wanna be in the thing
Doesnt matter anyway, My car arrived at port on the 23rd of January so missed the Pegasus Ace but it will be on the Aquarius Ace (we hope). But are you going to wait till March? I am half tempted to just sell my current car and get the new one as early as I can now. Put a private plate on it and be done with the whole thing
Oh well... Still, it iwll be in the Uk on the 12th at least after the 7th Feb cut off for March registrations.
Cut off was probably the wrong wording. The DVLA issues the XX20 plates on or before the 7th of February. The sale/finance/lease documents just need to be completed in March.Cut off?
For those who've got compensation, are any of you leasing? My order was placed with LO on 15th August and the current status is that it's been built but not shipped. Getting any form of compensation when leasing didn't really cross my mind, but if others have had it then I think I'll need to investigate!
Any depreciation loss will be negligible - go for it!
ordered early August? WTH.Long time lurker of the forum awaiting my cupra but finally bit the bullet and signed up as I can offer some help! I ordered with LO early August and still awaiting my car, due to the dealer by 24/2 apparently.
Anyways, after reading about others being offered compensation, I got my SLI number from LO and emailed Seat directly. About a week later I got a call from Seat apologising for the delay and have been offered compensation similar to others, free service, £250 of accessories or a cheque for £200. I've taken the money and have been told it will be sent when the car arrives at the dealer.
My advice is to give it a go, Seat know I used a broker, they asked yet they're still paying up!
ordered early August? WTH.
MY CAR IS ON THE PEGASUS ACE NOW!!!!
This left Barcelona Saturday, yet when I received an update on Monday, the vehicle had only just reached the port.....so it's somehow either always been on the ship since last week, or they're wrong and it's going on the next voyage.
Jeez. My lease ends at the end of March. I was hoping not to have too long a gap. When do you think they will cease production of the mk3 Cupra. Bit worried now that I will miss out.LOL, going by the forum, I'm not alone in waiting this long! Ordered the lux in mag grey and it's been delay after delay
This happened to me last May, was told it was on a ship, then an update a few days later to say it was at port in barcelona, then an hour after seat uk rang to say its arrived at uk port waiting to be assigned a transporter 2days later it was at the dealers then i received the car 3days after that
245HP lol.Thought I'd share this article about the new cupra
https://www.autoevolution.com/news/...d-wagon-rendered-will-have-245-hp-140726.html
Reading this, I still think the current cupra is better!
That's just the hybrid version, there is also a pure petrol 300bhp version confirmed too. Should be here around Summer time.245HP lol.
Ah ok. Makes sense. That's just the hybrid version, there is also a pure petrol 300bhp version confirmed too. Should be here around Summer time.
And I imagine the hybrid, coupled with the torque from the electric drive, would still be just as quick as the pure petrol. That's just the hybrid version, there is also a pure petrol 300bhp version confirmed too. Should be here around Summer time.
I'm not sure why the new one is getting so much stick. The early renders look good to me.And I imagine the hybrid, coupled with the torque from the electric drive, would still be just as quick as the pure petrol.
I agree, I'd be tempted if it wasn't likely to be priced at near enough twice what my one on order is. It's almost like the bmw 1 series with the aero kit.I'm not sure why the new one is getting so much stick. The early renders look good to me.
very possible - wasn't aware they were doing a hybrid Cupra. And I imagine the hybrid, coupled with the torque from the electric drive, would still be just as quick as the pure petrol.
