Yeah this will be my first track day. I like my spirited drives but have to control myself as British roads are only so wide.

Good stuff.
It’ll be intense.
First time out is bonkers.
Try to keep an eye on the marshals posts. Can be difficult to take it all in at first.

Don’t forget to turn the TC off.
Otherwise it shuts your power down if you spin up the wheels in the corners.
Have a blast. Let us know how good it was.
As I’ve said before it’s the best, most exciting thing you can do while keeping your clothes on.

Had to buy a trailer and a towing car in last 2 weeks, all so I can go on as many travel days as I wish and not have to borrow stuff or rely on people

Absolutely ace track day.

Car was awesome. Well behaved all day. Had a really damp start till lunch was on road tyres but after lunch got the tarmac tyres and was able to Push hard. Set some decent lap times for my ability some improvements identified but an awesome day.

Saw several spin offs and even a civic muddy side up.

Will have videos to put up at some point

Donny is a great circuit. I love that it’s quite wide, fast and flows really well.

Yeah it's a great track, lucky its so local for me.

I’m at Oulton Park on the 12th

Been at Oulton today.

Perfect sunny & dry conditions.. just very cold!

Me and mate with a Clio 172 always go together, but had 2 other friends join us, one in a standard Type R & the other in a stage 2 330d.

Had plenty of fun as normal. The day was fully booked so a good variety of cars out on track. Surprisingly less than 5 red flags!! All day!!!! I’ve never been to a trackday with less than 10 red flags shown!

Anyway car ran well; felt down on power this morning.. seemed to run better and feel more powerful in the PM.

Car fees great now but as always, I want it faster, stiffer, louder etc etc
