No ones car is getting built week 1 as the factory is shut

there are loads of backed of orders sorry to say

I ordered in July cupra lux and bad BW 42 so I’m hoping I’ll be an early build but who knows.

will see next week what they say
Yea I spoke to my dealer yesterday and he said all back orders moved to bw2-5.. he did say though that this has happened the last two years and 2 boats are due from next week and he wouldn’t be surprised if cars appear from thin air on these.. so maybe a glimmer of hope..

Is this from a R with all the extra copper detailing ? Says lux but I thought it was white stitching
Yea these are from the R.. the below are what I’m told to expect in the MY20 lux

I wouldn’t be surprised this happened when I ordered a GTI got told it was delayed and next day it was ready to pick up out of nowhere !

I’m just riding the waves Atm, I’m passed caring unless I don’t have it by April but by then I really think I would have canceled

Same.. my current car due back 23rd feb. I’ll need to cancel if I don’t have a definitive date by mid/end Jan as I need a car. Seat Pulman are happy to cancel without charge if this is the case. Starting to look at other options now just in case but not really anything like the Cupra so same price/deal..

Has anyone cancelled their order through leasing options? There any charges to be aware of?

I was told with my Leon that given the lead time was so much longer than they had advertised that I wouldn't be charged anything for cancelling and I would get a full refund. I did however get another car from them.

Hi Guys,

Who here is leasing from Leasing options and has lease plan as the finance provider?

I am trying to sort insurance quotes out, but not sure who the registered keeper would be. I know the registered owner is lease plan, but not sure about the registered keeper...

Anyone with leasing options know what it is?

Leasing Options are the broker, so it is whoever the contract is with is the owner, so my Bimmer is Hitachi Capital Finance but the Leon would have been Arval. Just tick you aren't the owner or registered keeper and it is a lease car on the comparison sites. When you get to the final quote with the provider I specified who.

There's been a few pics in this thread of MY20 Lux. Mainly the ST version but this is the same interior as the hatch.
@Nivster posted some pics of his MY20 lux on page 641.
There's also a dealership video of a MY20 Lux demo car on the same page.
Dealer confirmed MY20 details for me as below:
"MY20 are factory orders to be built after 8 July 2019 so your car is definitely a MY20 with the order being placed 23/08/19.
July/ August’s price list screen shot is below with Microsuede front bucket seats (heated) as the trim. A Lux with leather would have needed to be built prior to the 8th of July 2019 and that would have been a MY19."

Asked for an update from LO over the holiday. just had a reply:

"I am afraid that there has been some delays with SEAT production as there was a fire and then the Christmas closure, the dealer now anticipates that your vehicle should be with them on 17/02/2020. This is a provisional date and it may change so please do not rely too heavily upon this; we will of course keep you updated to any changes. "

for info - ordered 25th Oct... and that's now an additional 3 week delay on my previous estimate of 24th Jan

Been looking around for insurance quotes again. Prices seem to have gone up by approximately £200 since September despite my status remaining unchanged.

I ordered Mid September, Can't remember the exact date and I was told to be optimistic with a BW 5 after the delays (Origionally confirmed BW50). With the 3-5 week delivery times from factory. Puts my car firmly in March.

I'm waiting to hear back on a deal from another Car that's in stock and if that one comes through I'm cancelling. With the delays, new model being announced and having test driven this other car, I don't even want the Cupra anymore it's become a running joke how long my car is taking to be built never mind arrive

Hello Jack
Happy New year
The updates are coming through and we have a new ETA date for your vehicle as being 10/01.
Thats the newest one today bit there is as yet no chassis number on the system so I will double check and come back to you

Given LO's track record, I'd take that with a metric tonne of salt. I was told by SEAT UK that they wouldn't be able to get any updates until the factory reopenned on 6th Jan. Unless LO know something we don't...

What car are you looking at? I'm also thinking about just cancelling and looking elsewhere. I cant find anything about with similar spec for the money. I've even turned to looking at the Kia Proceed Shooting brake GT's!...

This is the email I received after:
Sorry Jack - the dealer has said realistically on 17/02 to the dealer.
I am so sorry

Admittedly it's completely different but I'm looking at the Jeep Wrangler :') always been a fan of the big yank tanks! :')
seen there's a deal on the 2 litre Kia Stinger GT atm. Not really looked around much though tbh I just stumbled upon the Jeep deal on leasing.com and thought ahhh I'll give it a drive and actually loved it so :bleh:
