I searched for news in Spanish and found this one that says the factory began production again on the 2nd December using parts from Germany and the Czech Republic but the Leon production was still awaiting a later date to start production.
It claims that with the Xmas closure due on the 20th December they could reach a figure of 14000 vehicles that have been delayed!

They were originally closing on the 17th for Xmas so they are doing 3 extra days production to try and catch up some of the losses.

It doesn't say but from personal experience most places in Spain usually return to work after epiphany which is the 7th Jan. So just over 2 weeks of closure time. They take religious holidays pretty seriously.
So they will have from the 3rd until the 20th to try and catch up as many cars as possible then the remaining cars on return from Xmas if they haven't caught up.

Is it a Lux? If it's a standard hatch that's the same as the MY19 and a few have already got theirs.
If it's a Lux you'll be the first one I've seen in here to get one!

I know, it’s been a long wait but hopefully it’s worth it. My first time getting anything new so shame it’s been this delayed. Should see it some time January and will definitely put some pics up!

Mines was built on Monday 11th (build week 46) but after reading all these dashboard issues with the supplier fire I'm a tad worried.

The dealership has been very minimal in what it can tell me and hasn't updated me on whether or not mines is held up, only that "it will be here soon".

Phoning on monday for a straight answer, sick of "soon" turning into week on week of more "soon".

hi mate,

mine was built after yours and has missed a few ships since arriving at the Barcelona port. The dealer should be able to tell you the status code, where the car is and if it’s got on ship etc. (This is the information I’m getting from my dealer anyway and the sales manager checked if it was on a boat or not when I was at the dealer the other day)

My dealer asked if want bs that customer service say or the truth,

it will be here before xmas is what CS told me on the 27th November,

The dealer now told me it wasn’t built on Week 48 and is still not built due to a few backlogs and to expect it no earlier than the end of January, Looks like I should wait till march for a 20 plate

SEAT seem to be a bit all over the place, I was told it was going to be after the new year but then I had a phone call late last week with the new date so I'm chuffed....

I ordered about the same time black hatch, and I’m told it’ll be at the dealer 19th..dealer is in Leeds and delivery night not happen until Christmas. I’m wondering if a trip up to Leeds just pre-Christmas to collect might be quicker?

Would also be fun blasting back on the M11

Mine's at the JC600 dealer in Bradford, I could have had it delivered this coming Thursday but I'm at work, next Monday I'm off so I'll be looking out the window until it's delivered!
