Racingline R600 Intake

I have a friend with a 2016 Golf R that has a R600 intake fitted to it, he is getting rid of the Golf R and is going to sell the R600 intake. Would the intake fit straight on to my MY19 Cupra?

Some of them have the breather pipe and some don’t, other than that I’m sure they’re exactly the same. I think the newer Cupra’s have this breather pipe, if his has that then I think you’ll be fine. Otherwise I’m sure there’s a small adapted filter you can buy.

The R600 is the same for all models, however you need to trim a little on the left hand side on the Cupras due to the shape of the engine strut sits.

Sorry but it’s not, the golfs (not sure which modes or all) have a “secondary air intake” as shown in attached images.

Since the op’s is coming from a golf I would look into a blanking option for the gaping hope it may have...

I was under impression that extra filter is for US Golfs, not UK.

I just know I saw a variant out there and wasn’t sure whether it was golf or US related, best to be sure non the less.

So yeah it’ll fit unless he’s moved to/from the US

I contacted RacingLine regarding this and they have confirmed that it will fit, only thing that needs modifying is the bonnet strut part

I took a pair of tin snips to mine and the full lip came off, actually looks far tidier than just sawing a little bit away.

Still remember doing the test fit of this down at Volkswagen Racing in 2014, literally took an axe saw to my plastic bits haha.
