New user :) hoping someone can help
Car went into limp mode last week and got it plugged into Bosch diagnostics computer.
It's coming up with:
P0113 - intake air temperature sensor 1 - signal too large.
Have been told the air temp sensor will probably need replacing but all google searches seem to come up with 1.9 models with the air filter box on the side.
Does anyone have a clue where it is located on the 1.4l ?
Thanks in advance

Yes it's a leon 1.4l petrol

Lol, every day is a school day.
In that case there's every chance that the engine is identical to the 1.4 litre that was being used in the VW golf of that era. Nearly everything was shared by Audi/Seat/Skoda/VW back then. If so, then i looked it up in the haynes for you and it seems it's on the right hand side of the inlet manifold. See attached pic.

EDIT: after cross checking the engine codes, i'm 99.9% sure that your engine is indeed the same one they used in the golf, so the IAT is number 11 in that diagram. That also means that you can get this hanyes manual and it will cover your engine and gearbox (and possibly other stuff like the brakes too) https://www.halfords.com/workshop-t...MI9_vgv4PF5QIVh4bVCh0ckwshEAQYAiABEgLOoPD_BwE
