(Help) Unable to upgrade to CarPlay?

Hey all.

I went to Halfords today to upgrade my stereo from stock to this.

I was told they were unable to do it while they were having a look at it. Something to do with a heath and safety issue (I think something was said about the airbags being connected to it)

I do wish to change it but I would rather get someone else to do it for me.

can you please give me some advice on this please.

The Ibiza 6J facelift isn’t the most easiest headunit to swap out. As the hazard button is located under the headunit, Halfords would have to relocate this with a new unit next to the lock button. Maybe take your car to a retrofitting company, they may be able to assist you.

Sorry for the late response. I’m not to familiar with places around Sheffield, I can suggest VW Retrofit in Reditch or Audi Retrofits in Iver.
