Yes could well have been.

Although I hear that it’s hard to tell that there is hint of grey in the dynamic grey, where as this looked like the Porsche chalk grey, very obvious as it drove past.

Ah Porsche Crayon.

Is dynamic grey even still available on a Cupra these days?
Nope

You can have any colour you like as long as its, Blue, Red or one of 5 grey's.

Edit: Having said that, you have the choice of 4 greys, because the flat white only comes on the SE

If it's a new Cupra being ordered, there's now no metallic desire red nor mystery blue - it's lacquered red oxide primer or nowt!

The brochure changed last week. The screen shot I posted is the updated brochure and mystery blue and desire red are both now available on the cupra.

Can attest to this as i had my order changed as a result.

Yes mine is showing as the 4th now. I don't understand how they can update me on the 10th October to say it will be at the dealers on the 18th (at which point I arrange to get rid of my current car) and 10 days later it's been delayed another 16 days?! It's an absolute shower. Is this to be expected from the car trade, or are we just getting a raw deal from these guys? No wonder the car industry is struggling if this is how they operate.

Documents have been received by nationwide, so now it’s the waiting game

Has anyone who has ordered with Leasing Options and had their order confirmed by factory late August actually been given a confirmed BW yet? I was told that "there are no delays" but surely there no way of a early/mid November delivery if there's still no BW now?

Have you rang Seat to see if they have a build week for you I'm with LO and Seat said I should have a confirmed build week by next week and I ordered start of October

Yeah I have been ringing weekly and a few weeks ago they said I should have a build date by mid October, but that clearly hasn't happened.

Great sounds like I'm being told a bunch of lies then, see how it goes, you will have to let me know how LO deal with it

I don't think there's a lot LO can do. A mix of being closed for August, Brexit, and the sheer amount of orders means Seat can't cope, so I think most of the LO orders entered at the end of August will be delayed. Also leasing companies get build slots after main dealers so I've heard. If I don't get a build slot by the end of the month I reckon I'll cancel as there's no way it will get to me before Christmas.

Would the fact that my lease company ordered through a dealer make a difference?

I was speaking to my dealer whilst in for service work on mine and he agreed that the new build wait times are silly.

Apparently, there are a lot of new Cupra's in dealer stock and are easy enough to get if you want to go though VW solutions.

Arnold Shark have the share of them so if you want a new one at a good price but want to ignore any aftercare it's worth a look!

I don't know I'm afraid. What I said may be wrong, but the whole order system with Seat putting build weeks months in advance seems extremely messy so who knows what their system is
