I just mentioned that “Weird Purple” to MrsMaypack (who has a Boheme Purple Leon Xcellence) and she looked at me with THAT look which all us married men know...

She loves Purple and she is insisting she will not replace her car at any time no matter what I offer to get her!!

Back on track though, last Alor Blue I’ve seen locally is a 66 plate CUPRA.

The colour range now is pathetic.

I know people like their Blues and Red, but its basically Blue, Red or a different shade of Monotone. Who is running Seat at the moment, 1990's Spiting Image John Major?

Yeah it was definitely with the facelift 2017.

I loved the Alor Blue, still catches the eye when one goes past.

I swapped from an Alor blue 3DR FR to the facelift and found out they had stopped producing it. had to go with mystery blue in the end.

Poor colour choice is one the reason wife keeps turning down a new car, from many marques btw, she reckons she's as well keeping what she has, I bought her an ex demo white one, not popular for weeks with that deal even though I saved a big lump of cash against new.

That used to be a thing that SEAT had over VW, a reasonable colour palate - VW's colour option for Polo in 2002 was rubbish, so she got a Reflex Silver one, in 2015, things looked slightly better, but it ended up being Reflex Silver again - an easy colour to keep clean and touch in chips, keeps cool if the sun ever shines in Summer, but not a colour that many people would aim for!

Yep, with you on that, had a 65 Alor Blue FR, now got a 68 Mystery Blue FR, it's just not the same, saw an Alor Blue at local dealer, seeing it brought back memories, i wish i still had it, way it stands out, and when its really clean and the sun glistens off it, sorry getting carried away now!!

At least SEAT haven't started doing that hearing aid brown I've seen on so many cars recently. Who the crap actually thinks "I love that hearing aid brown colour, I'm ordering myself one of those". There's a Jeep Renegade in the colour across the road from me and I think he should have consulted with the neighbours first before making us see the hideous thing each day.

I park my mystery blue cupra between the 2 lads cars in work. One has a focus and the other a fiesta in the Ford blue and the colours look so similar.

Can still spot my baby a mile away though. Haha.

They did the toledo in that colour. Someone I know picked one up, my first comment was about the similarity to a hearing aid!

Cough Cough...I think they stopped the Alor Blue on the Leon in summer 2016, which I believe Facelift came after, and my Ibiza which was delived end Nov 2016, had a 2 week delay as they need to fullfill the colour as it was ordered in Aug 2016, which at the time, was still avaliable on the Ibiza, which since has been totally stopped on all Seats, maybe they found a tin lying around somewhere and used it.
Saying that, Seat brought back Emocion Red. The only closest color to Alor Blue is Hainan Blue on Audi Q3 and BMW's Snapper Rocks blue on 3/4 series.
