If you've got a decent deal it's definitely worth the wait though. This all makes me laugh,I agree we all seem to be in a group of orders between 10th July and some before however 10th July was open day for MY20 lux .
I was told that there were a few MY19 cars ready that were being change to My20 spec which could account for certain orders but I would imagine all of these are now delivered.
I called today and was first told factory was not open so no update.Got annoyed which she sensed and said I had been told different only 4 days ago.
The magic ‘let me check’ put on hold and suddenly factory is open but still no BW and system showing no status.Told to call in few weeks.
Now I was told I had an estimated BW of 28th October in Aug and at end of Aug I was told 7Th October.I asked today and she said there is no estimate on the system. She even asked me if the dealer had given me a delivery date, like that would mean anything !!
We clearly are all being fobbed off and something standard is going to come out soon I would Imagine.
My bet is only orders they know and suits them will be made pre brexit for the uk and all
Others are in a pool on hold to see what the hell we do and what it means for the UK and Europe. Also likely because as we know if it costs more and they have already decided they won’t pay it and falls to us,why would they build cars knowing a lot will be cancelled!
Until then will be given the run around I thinks.
shame as I agree December and more money will mean cancel
If I’m honest 100 percent I would wait but I can’t afford 10 percent more of like 30000 as the deal is no longer goodIf you've got a decent deal it's definitely worth the wait though.
Hi all,
Some of the wait times are ridiculous!! I ordered my standard black cupra in mid July through nationwide and have an expected dealer receiving date of 16th october.
I imagine they do certain colours on the line in batches every week rather than this colour then that so it may be a case of all of us waiting for a mag grey cupra will get the same build week and it's hopefully before Boris messes up Brexit worse than it already is :')
That's consistent with what I've been told. I ordered early August and my delivery date is early November.
Pretty sure 12 weeks lead time was mentioned.
That's my only concern really.
At this point I just want the car at some point on the deal I signed for. It wouldn't matter if it was next year in all honesty. It will be a different matter if it suddenly becomes more expensive however.
Think if I got to that point and still didn't know I'd be ringing up daily asking for updates just to maybe aggro them into pushing it through quicker :')This would mean 2nd October for me and as of yet I have no BW and not even sure what’s going on
I’m 8 weeks in to that 12 !!
I will be soon, thing is the factory has been shut which was even more of agg because I and others were not told so you can scrap most of August out that time likely setting back another 4 weeksThink if I got to that point and still didn't know I'd be ringing up daily asking for updates just to maybe aggro them into pushing it through quicker :')
very true, just fingers and toes crossed they are upping the product for brexit for any orders placed prior to the factory shuttingI will be soon, thing is the factory has been shut which was even more of agg because I and others were not told so you can scrap most of August out that time likely setting back another 4 weeks
Just waiting to hear back from Leasing Options.. I sent my very concerned email to them this morning and they replied saying they will find out what is going on.. obviously doesn't sound normal to them either!
did you have a confirmed BW already before you called or is this just another promiseOk so I have just called Seat CS again and have been advised mine will be with the retailer in the uk by the 9th October. Ordered via leasing options on 19th August Cupra Lux in Nevada White no options.
So orders for MY20 Lux could not be ordered anytime before July 10th with the factory.I’ve ordered through a Seat dealership as they had a good deal local to me. I ordered 16th August and my build week is 44 (28th October)- although not confirmed. Surely it is in the factories best interest to export as many cars as possible before the 31st October.
Also, I find it worrying how my dealership is as clueless as me and can’t really provide any useful information.
I’m new to leasing also as I’ve only had a PCP previously. So, did you guys sign a contract with whoever you have took a lease out with?
As with mine, I do not have to sign until I pick the car up (if I do after this annoyance). But I have had documents detailing agreed prices etc so surely this can’t change as I would then pull out, as I’m sure a lot of you also would.
I ordered a standard 290 Cupra hatch mag grey also.
Hoping to hear a confirmed buildweek soon.
No nothing yesterday but i confirmed with the guy twice and he said its confirmed. Hmm. Hope this isn't another fob offdid you have a confirmed BW already before you called or is this just another promise
Unless you have a confirmed BW and the system status has changed it means nothing ?
Confirmed by Seat Uk CS or the dealer ?No nothing yesterday but i confirmed with the guy twice and he said its confirmed. Hmm. Hope this isn't another fob off
