Crazy or what I’m now thinking of a fiesta st 3 with a performance pack on 4 the same price of £299 a month
nah whats the point? yeah the Fiesta ST's are meant to be awesome but for the same price you can have a front wheel drive Golf R which is basically what the cupra is and imo looks a lot better that both the fiesta and the golf but that's just me

Have to agree the metallic desire red is a great color but its a bugger to paint match if you have an accident.

Just spoke to Seat CS and they confirmed the factory is shut until the last week of august and I haven't been assigned a build week yet :banghead2:banghead2:banghead2

Gotta disagree with you here mate - the non-metallic emocion red is a big step down from metallic desire red. A workmate had a 2015 FR in emocion red and it looked so flat in comparison.

Agree totally here. I’ve got a Desire Red CUPRA and prior to that had an Emocion Red FR. Colour on the CUPRA pops but the FR was totally flat.

Agree with the Desire Red, it's a stunning colour, it's a shame they have stopped it on the Cupra.

I had a Mk6 Ibiza in Desire Red and never had a paint that looks so different dependant on the light. I received compliments all the time... never had that before.

Hi all, long time lurker first time poster!, I took delivery of a leased cupra lux last Tuesday and I'm chuffed to bits!, I handed my vw scirocco and took delivery of the cupra the same day. When I gave it the beans the first words that came out of my mouth was literally "Jesus christ!", very chuffed with the car!

Could not

come at a worst time for us and brexit

This was at the end of an email signature from the leasing company that I death with..

"**The UK is expected to leave the European Union on 31 October 2019. If a withdrawal agreement is not in place by this date, World Trade Organisation tariffs of up to 10.6% may apply to all vehicle imports. Should matters follow this course, any payments quoted by Leasing Options will increase accordingly. **"

If that happens then

'Mystery Blue', no sunroof or buckets.... Secretly I was hoping that they chucked them in based on their new 'lux' stuff..... But alas.... Still..... The chap drove from York to Reading (240 miles on the clock), I pointed out the nearest bus stop from me (I said to him that I would drop him off at the nearest train station but I had BCA collecting the scirocco on the same day.

This was one of the reasons I ordered mine in March despite only needing it in July. At the time I didn't realise BREXIT would be extended so it didn't matter in the end. My car just sat at the dealers for a few months.
But VAG have already said any import cost will be passed to the customer. It's a bit crap really and you'd like to think there'll be some fallback measure in place if there is a no deal BREXIT.

Hi everyone, ordered a Leon Cupra 290 on a 2yr lease from Nationwide early July, build week is showing as 16/9.
Quite fancied a Lux but at time of ordering the lease companies I spoke to said it was dealer stock only with no more factory orders and they couldn't hold them till 1st September.
Obviously this has now changed with people ordering 2020 MY cars and indeed Nationwide now has the Lux available again. Tempted to order a Lux from Leasing Options but damned if I'm paying the BoJo 10% tax [:@] if it arrives post 31/10 which would seem likely.

Just had this reply from Seat dealer as I asked about brexit.

Quote
As yet, we have no information on how Brexit will affect the vehicles but we
have been made aware that SEAT and all VW Group have increased the factory
production to get as many orders as possible in the UK before the proposed
date of Brexit.

Your car is still expected to arrive in October based on the lead times when
ordered.unquote

Sort of good news but will see

I have asked if the factory is open
