There are some arriving up north right now. Mine is YJ19, which is Leeds. Many of the lease cars being delivered at the moment seem to be Y something.

It landed in port on 7th may. Took about 10 days to get dealership and documents came through to sign, which included registration number, on the 21st may. So approx 2 weeks.

Thanks. I only ordered 28th may and straight away said car was built and in transit to UK. 1 was expecting 14 weeks when I chose it. So i cant complain could be 4 weeks from start to finish.

Sounds like you've been lucky and landed on recent cancelled order and it matched your spec and they allocated it to you maybe.

I ordered 25th March and was originally told expected delivery was end of June / early July so I've been a bit lucky it seems.

Me to. It still doesnt feel quite real that Im getting one of these. They also make me wish I lived near an Autobahn.

I've felt like that for weeks. Doesnt feel real I'm having one, and today is the day. Just waiting for delivery driver phone call to say hes an hour away.

Its my first cupra, my first brand new car, although on lease so not mine of course. Doesnt mean I'm not excited though lol.

Not had a quick car for a few years, currently rocking a golf 1.4 gt lol, so will obviously blow that away.

Had to save on car costs for a whlle!

Previous cars before that were an evo 9 and e46 m3. Be interesting to see how it compares to those.

I'm jumping from a 1.0l Citroen C1 Excited is an understatement! But I've just had an email from my leasing contact saying she is now out of the office until the 17th!

Im driving a 1.4 turbo astra right now. Not slow at 150bhp/180lbft, but not 'fast'. Sport mode is a bit mental though, because it makes the throttle a switch basically, and is pretty much unusable in town. Part of me thinks I should keep it in that mode for a week while I wait for the Cupra, to teach me some restraint.

Cheers. Mines been in transit 8 days and pegasus ace landed this morning. Dealer est delivery is 21st fingers crossed. So hopefully all dates seem.to.fit what I've read on here.Bit obsessed Haha driving me mad.

How do you know your car is in transit? Do you have a way of tracking the vehicle?

Just been given an estimated date at the dealer of 15th July... Bit disappointing considering its being built this week, thought it would be there a bit sooner than that.

Once at the dealer I guess its a 14 day wait from there as well?

Mines the 15/07 apparently.. from LO.

When I rung Seat it up they said it takes 4-6 weeks to be ready for pickup (shipping, docks to dealer, pdi etc) from the build week.

Dealer told me it had been built and in transit on 28th may It still says that but he changed from estimated late June to June 21st at dealers on Tuesday so I'm guessing its arrived. So 2 weeks till at dealers. Hoping bit sooner to be honest. If you ask for tracking number off dealer or lease company and ring seat customer services they will tell you exactly where it is.
